Indigent Services

Assistance with rent, utilities, prescriptions, medical bills, gas for travelers, emergency bus tickets, food bank open 24/7. Donations are accepted, money, food and clothing. Anyone wanting assistance must fill out all required paper work to qualify. Commodity food distribution.

Winnemucca Food Bank

Operated by the Winnemucca Ministerial Association. Food commodities for all who qualify. Anyone seeking assistance must fill out all required paperwork. Hosts the BackPack Kids program for qualifying school children and the Commodity Supplemental Food Program (CSFP) for low income seniors (age 60+) and pregnant women and children awaiting WIC benefits

Winnemucca Ministerial Association/Soup Kitchen

Operates the local soup kitchen- dinner served Wednesday, Thursday and Sunday at 6 p.m. at the United Methodist Church downstairs; lunch served?Tuesday at noon. Provides holiday food baskets.
