Cashman Equipment has made a major donation to the Boys and Girls Club of Winnemucca. Company representative Joni Tally presented a check for $150,000 to the Boys and Girls Club last week. She shared a statement on behalf of company owner MaryKay Cashman and Cashman Equipment.

“We are very happy to be contributing to this awesome new center as we see the opportunity it provides for the community, and most importantly, the investment in the developing character and education potential of the children of Winnemucca.”

Boys and Girls Club of Winnemucca Executive Director Chad Peters gave Tally a tour of the building. Tally said she was amazed at the huge and wonderful building and excited to see the difference it will make in the lives of area children and the entire community.

Tally said this cause is very “near and dear” to MaryKay Cashman’s heart. “For the last 16 years that I have worked for Cashman Equipment, I have seen MaryKay’s involvement with causes dedicated to children,” Tally said.

Cashman Equipment has six locations in the state, including Winnemucca, Elko, Reno, Henderson, North Las Vegas, and Round Mountain. The company has been in business since 1931 and MaryKay Cashman represents the third generation of family ownership.

“Cashman is one of the largest woman-owned businesses in the state, with 750 employees in the six locations,” Tally said.

Cashman equipment does sales and rental of Caterpillar equipment. They do service, provide parts, power and technology throughout Nevada and some locations in eastern California.
